TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING VISIT

 

 

The University of Texas at Arlington is looking forward to your recruiting visit!

 

 

I           BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW DATE

 

A.                  Complete the on-lineOn-Campus Interview Schedule Request” form, along with the “Other On-Campus Arrangements” form if you plan to host an Information Session and/or Faculty/Staff Lunch, as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please call our office at 817-272-2932.

 

B.                  Please send recruiting brochures, promotional materials or employment applications well in advance of the interview date so they may be distributed to students.  A minimum of 15 copies per interview schedule would be appreciated.  If material is to be held for distribution by your company representative, please specify.  A career library is maintained for student use.  Our delivery address is:

II          DAY OF THE INTERVIEW       (Career Services Office Opens at 8:00am, Monday – Friday)

 

 

A.                  Be sure the recruiter brings resumes of the students selected for interviews and a sufficient supply of business cards.

 

B.                  Upon arrival, the recruiter(s) will be provided with a brief tour of the office facilities and an information packet.  An evaluation form will be included for the recruiter(s) to complete, which will assist Career Services in meeting future needs.

 

 

III         AFTER THE INTERVIEW DATE

 

A.                  We would appreciate reports returned to our office of all salary and job offers made to our graduates.  These are kept in strict confidence and are reported by type of industry and curriculum for the NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) Salary Survey.
