HIREAMAVERICK is the online database system that houses part-time jobs and off campus work-study. HIREAMAVERICK is administered by Student Employment Services. Available at http://careers.uta.edu/mavjobs. MavCareers is the online database system that houses internships/co-ops and full-time degreed positions. MavCareers is administered by Career Services. Available at http://careers.uta.edu. SNAPJob is the online database system that houses on campus student jobs (work-study and non work-study). Available at http://www.uta.edu/snapjob Each database has its own username and password.
The HIREAMAVERICK system is a web-accessible database, designed to allow students and employers to input their own information. Students are allowed to enter information into personal data sheets, search through job listings and apply for positions in an online environment. Employers will be allowed to input job postings, search for qualified students, view student data sheets and respond to applications online. The most important feature of HIREAMAVERICK is that it allows all users access to the system across the Internet, making it possible to search for jobs or employees whenever and wherever it is most convenient.
If you are a first time student user, you must register in the Student Employment Services Office before accessing the HIREAMAVERICK System. Please bring one of the following items with you: Student ID Card, an admissions letter, or an official copy of your class schedule. After registering, you may access the HIREAMAVERICK System anywhere and anytime. To get to the student login screen for HIREAMAVERICK, first go to the Student Employment Services Website at http://careers.uta.edu/mavjobs Click on Student Login. Type in your ID and password in the appropriate fields. You will need to click on the login button with your mouse. You will now be looking at the Student Main Menu. You can access all the features of HIREAMAVERICK by using the navy blue navigation bar at the top of the screen (Important- You will need to use your mouse to click on the navigation buttons.
If this is your first time to visit HIREAMAVERICK, you will create your own password when you fill in your on-line profile If you have visited HIREAMAVERICK before and you do not remember your password, you may come by the Student Employment Services office in the E.H. Hereford University Center to get your password. Please bring a picture ID with you.
There is a vast array of jobs listed in tHIREAMAVERICK. These jobs include Computer Science related and Information Systems, Accounting, Hospitality and off-campus Federal Work Study/Community Service.
Off-Campus employers use the HIREAMAVERICK System. There is a range of employers jobs posted through HIREAMAVERICK. The individual employers are as different as the individual jobs listed with SES.
